Risk disclosure

Last updated 8 July 2026

Draft — pending qualified legal review

This document is a working draft prepared ahead of launch. It has not yet been reviewed or approved by qualified UK legal or compliance counsel, and must not be relied on as final, in-force terms. It will be replaced once that review is complete.

This Risk Disclosure explains what Subnalysis is, what it is not, and the risks involved in using it alongside your own financial decision-making. Please read it carefully before using the Service. It should be read together with the Terms of Service.

1. What Subnalysis is

Subnalysis provides narrative analysis of macroeconomic and market conditions — describing what is happening in markets and the factors behind it, based on publicly available information. The Service is designed to explain why markets are moving, not to tell you where to enter or exit a position. It deliberately does not show price charts, technical indicators, or specific entry, stop-loss, or target price levels.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing in the Service constitutes investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, or tax advice. Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not take into account your personal financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, or needs, and is not tailored to you individually.

You should not treat any content on the Service as a substitute for advice from a qualified, independent financial adviser who understands your personal circumstances.

3. Not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold

Nothing in the Service is, or should be construed as, an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, currency, commodity, or other financial instrument. Any decision to trade or invest based on information you encounter on the Service is made entirely at your own discretion and risk.

4. Directional content is descriptive, not predictive

Some content in the Service (such as a "bullish", "bearish", or "neutral" label, or a "conviction" indicator) describes the prevailing lean already expressed in the underlying analysis at the time it was produced. This is a description of a state, not a forecast, a signal, or an instruction to act. It does not predict future price movements, does not represent the performance of any real or hypothetical portfolio, and does not indicate the likelihood of any particular outcome.

This directional content is a prototype feature still under review by qualified compliance counsel and is only shown to a limited set of test accounts. It has not been approved for use by members of the public.

5. No guarantee of accuracy or completeness

The Service synthesises information from third-party sources, including news wires and public data releases, and may use automated systems to help produce analysis. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that any content is accurate, complete, current, or free from error at the time you view it. Market conditions can change rapidly, and content may not reflect the most recent developments.

6. No track record or performance claims

The Service does not track, publish, or claim any win rate, accuracy score, or performance track record for its analysis or directional content to members of the public. Any internal feedback or accuracy tracking that may exist is a prototype tool for our own product development and is not a representation of expected results.

Past market behaviour, and any past commentary about it, is not a reliable indicator of future market behaviour.

7. General risks of trading and investing

Trading and investing in financial markets carries a real risk of loss, including the potential loss of your entire investment. Markets can be volatile and unpredictable. Leveraged products carry a materially higher risk and can result in losses that exceed your initial investment. You should only invest money you can afford to lose, and you should understand the risks of any product before trading it.

8. You are responsible for your own decisions

You are solely responsible for any financial, investment, or trading decisions you make. We accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage arising from decisions made in reliance on content from the Service. You should independently verify any information before acting on it and consult a qualified professional adviser.

9. Regulatory status

Subnalysis is not currently authorised or regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial regulator, and does not hold itself out as providing regulated financial advice or regulated investment services. The Service is currently offered on an invitation-only, pre-launch basis to a limited set of test accounts while it undergoes review, including compliance review by qualified UK counsel, ahead of any wider or public launch.

10. Changes to this disclosure

We may update this Risk Disclosure from time to time, including as part of the qualified legal review referenced at the top of this page. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
